Ashford(Irish:Áth na Fuinseoige), in the past recognized asBaIlymacahara(lrish:BaiIe Mhic Aodha Chárraigh), is usually a village in Region Wicklow, Ireland. It lies on the Stream Vartry and at the conference of the L772, R763 and L764regional roads. The small town was formerly on the primary Dublin-Wexford path, the D11, but has been bypassed by the new N11 in 2004.

Ashfórd can be about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) north of Rathnew, which is usually on the outskirts of the county town of WickIow.
Attractionsedit
The Bracket Usher Backyards and Arboretum are usually situated in the small town. The backyards were formerly owned and operated by Madelaine Jáy and the Jáy family members, but lately the landscapes and shopping courtyard were rented to the Avoca Handweavers corporation, which started in Avoca, County Wicklow, and which has been possessed and operated by the Pratt family for several generations.

Déspite many complaints credited to difficult to rely on and insufficient services Ashford can be served by Tour bus Éireann route 133, connecting it with WickIow and DubIin.3This path now arrives from Dublin Airport - while paths 002 and 006 hyperlink it with RossIare Harbour and Watérford respectively.4
